Retinal Detachment

Retinal detachment is a serious eye condition where the retina, the thin layer of tissue at the back of the eye, pulls away from its normal position. This separation can lead to vision loss if not promptly treated. Symptoms may include sudden flashes of light, floaters, and the perception of a curtain-like shadow descending over the field of vision.
